The role of Hamilton High School's School Site Council (SSC) is to serve as the school community representative body for determining the focus of the school's academic instructional program and all related categorical resources. As well, the SSC reviews and approves Hamilton's Disaster Plan on an annual basis.
Hamilton's SSC is composed of 12 members: 6 from the school staff and 6 from parents/community members and students. Each member, aside from the school principal, is elected by his or her peers to serve for a 2 year term.
The SSC meets every sixth week.
