HUSD is grateful for its Employees of Excellence!

Hamilton High recognizes Marilyn Taylor as our Employee of Excellence for February. Marilyn has been serving Hemet Unified as a Special Education teacher for six years now and has brought with her a wealth of experience from the Non-Public School setting. We are grateful to Marilyn for her unwavering dedication to providing equitable educational outcomes and closing the distance from opportunity for our students. Marilyn upholds high expectations for our students and provides appropriate scaffolding to ensure that students meet academic standards. By connecting students to post-graduation resources and agencies for college/career and organizing field trips to College of the Desert’s DSPS Department, Mrs. Taylor empowers students for college, career, and life. She is dedicated to continuous improvement and adjusting her practice to better serve students as shown through her implementation of Standards-based Grading and our HUSD Instructional Framework. Thank you, Marilyn, for your professionalism and for being the embodiment of HUSD’s Mission and Vision. You truly embrace, educate, and empower our students!
